About the Author
Patty Mason is an award-winning author, speaker, Bible teacher, and the founder of Liberty in Christ Ministries. For over 13 years Patty has been helping women find freedom for their souls through an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Her ministry began in her local church in Dayton, Ohio, as she began speaking publicly about the love and healing found only through Jesus.
In March, 1998, Patty and her family moved to Columbus, Ohio, where the Lord continued to open doors of ministry. Over the years, Patty was invited to share at various churches and other Christian women's organizations; such as, MOPS, Moms-in-Touch, the Daughters of Zion, and the Alliance Women’s District Rally. She was also a member, or participant, of such organizations as The Christian Women’s Club, Women in Leadership, Alliance Women, Christian and Missionary Alliance, and Exaltation.
In February, 2007, Liberty in Christ Ministries was founded with the purpose of helping others find hope, healing, and freedom for their souls. Through her writing and speaking Patty continued to reach women, helping them to draw closer to Jesus than they ever dreamed possible. As the ministry took root Patty continued to serve, not only as a writer and speaker, but as a ministry leader in her local church through the Governing Board, the women’s steering committee, and as the ladies Sunday school teacher.
In March, 2009, Patty and her family moved to Nashville, TN. Since moving to Nashville Liberty in Christ Ministries has grown quickly, evolving into a world-wide outreach, communicating the love of God to people in 170 countries around the world through Sisters on Assignment, Christian TV, Sermon.net, CWebtv, and WLGT Blog Radio LIVE. Then, beginning in August 2010, this global outreach was expanded through Salem Communication's Internet Broadcasting Channel, Light Source.
In 2011, since the release of her second book, Finally Free: Breaking the Bonds of Depression without Drugs, God has opened doors for Patty to share her testimony of His redeeming grace on numerous television and radio programs, such as The Bridges Show, Talkshoe Radio, and 94.7 WFIA "Just Ask Joyce." In December 2011, her story aired on CBN 700 Club offering hope to those who are suffering with depression.
Presently Patty is a member of Christian Women in Media and Recycled Women and continues to speak at women’s luncheons, events, workshops and conferences, such as, Sweet Aroma Café, Being a Woman: Forgiven not Forsaken, Romancing the Rock: More Than a Dream, and the Middle Tennessee Women's Retreat, coming April, 2012.
